As the end of the semester approaches I find myself becoming more and more stressed, in addition to this the seasons are changing and the colder weather isn't helping out my skin.
While I've been under the pump at uni I've let my skin care routine fall by the way-side, I'm not cleansing my skin as often as I should and I'm certainly not doing every step I should be.
My skin is really starting to feel it and I find my face is constantly peppered with tiny little pimples or masses of threatening bumps. It got to the point where my skin was impacting on my mood and I was avoiding looking in the mirror.
A little desperate I binned my old skin care routine and decided to go back to something really basic that was as close to natural as possible, enter Lush cosmetics. As if I needed another reason to enter this glorious shop.
With the website open I created a new, very basic skin care routine that would hopefully work as a detox and get my skin back on track. Routine in hand I headed to my local Lush store and the lovely sales assistant spent almost an hour going through which products I should be using.
I've used a few of these products before so I know that they won't be to harsh on my skin and am eager to see how this new routine will work out!
My new routine is
- Ultrabland for my first clenase
- Angels on Bare Skin for my second cleanse
- Eau Roma Water as a toner
- Enchanted Eyecream to brighten up my bags
- Grease Lightening on any annoying pimples
- Enzymion as a moisturiser
In addition to the pictured products I also picked up a mask to be used once a month and serum for nightly use.
Have you tried any of Lush's skin care products?
Much love,
Chiblutis xx
