On Sunday night the moon lantern festival was held, signalling the beginning of South Australia's OzAsia festival. After work I headed down for something to eat, to check out all the beautiful lanterns and see the fireworks - of course.
There were tons of lanterns lighting up the whole festival and little lilies were released onto the river. There was so much delicious food (I ate my noodles before I had a chance to take a photo of them) and so many different tastes of Asian culture.
A full band played all night, and had a special medley for the fireworks display which was unlike any I had ever seen before.
It was a little windy but there was no rain and the whole festival was beautiful, I had a go at taking some photos at night and I know they are not the best but I wanted to share them anyway.
Hopefully by this time next year I've had a lot more practice with my camera and will have prettier photos to share :P
