I'm currently on uni break which means one thing, I have so much more time to read. My library card has been getting more of a workout and I've been blazing through some books that have been on my TBR for ageees. Today I'm going to do a mini review on the four books I've read in the past week, if you've read any of these books please leave a comment below and let me know what you thought of it!
Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
I've been meaning to read this book for years and so when it was finally available in my library I was so damn excited. This was such a page turner, I read this book in one sitting (only taking toilet and snack making breaks) I just could not put it down. It follows the two protagonists, Eleanor and Park, as their worlds collide and they learn how to make their growing romance work for them. This book is probably not for younger readers but if you're looking for something easy to read that will suck you in this is for you!
Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella
I kept seeing this book around and I thought I'd give it a go, and boy am I glad I did. It follows the main character Audrey as she learns to cope with an anxiety disorder. After meeting a boy named Linus she begins to come out of her shell and return to how she was before. I stayed up far too late reading this book and it's made my list of books to re-read. It is written so damn well and I feel that it does a fantastic job of addressing anxiety disorders along with possible ways to cope with it. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants something easy to read something super good that's also interesting and informative.

I'll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson
For me there was a lot of hype around this book, so many people had recommended it to me and although it didn't really live up to the hype it had an amazing story line. This was one that I kind of had to force myself to keep reading and I didn't really get into the story for the first eight chapters, but after that I got hooked and finished it in two days. It follows to protagonists, a brother and sister, and the chapters shift between both their perspectives and different timelines. Once you wrap your head around this type of novel it becomes a hundred times better. For me this is definitely a book you would take on holiday and read over a couple of days.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
This was on my summer reading list and I am so glad that I finally got around to finishing it, I read it every chance I could and didn't want it to end. As someone whose teen years were defined by the internet I feel like I really identify with the protagonist Cath. Cath is fresh out of high school, starting out at a new college and loves writing fanfiction (my platform of choice was wattpad :p). Fangirl follows Cath on her first year really being separated from her twin sister Wren, we see her branch out and start to deal with new friends and boys. This book is probably more suited towards younger readers but those who are a little older may be able to identify with Cath's characteristics more so.
What are you reading right now?
Much love,
