Well another month has absolutely flown past so you know what that means, today I'm going to share with you the things I've been loving this past month. So without further ado lets jump into it!
Week to open diary
I typically run off a bullet journal and I love that system so much but it doesn't make planning ahead too easy. Originally I was looking at office-works for a cheap diary that I could use to plan ahead for uni but I've started to use it for everything, including my daily to do lists. I love that it's small enough to fit in any of my bags but still has more than enough space for everything I need to write.
Nivea Mens Post Shave Balm
On a daily basis I use a BB cream and a liquid illuminator and before I discovered this I didn't use a primer with it as it just got too costly. However the nivea mens post shave balm is an amazing primer while still being pretty cheap. After I moisturise I wait ten minutes and then apply this - a small amount goes a long way - until it goes tacky and wait another minute until I apply my BB cream.
Crop Rose Hip Oil
For the past few years I've been using a rose hip oil as a treatment but I didn't use it every day, this past month I've been using it after toner and before my moisturiser at night and my skin has loved it. It's brightened up my skin while also tightening it, I apply it to my whole face and take it right up to my eye instead of using an eye treatment. I love this brand because along with being reasonably priced cops is also against animal cruelty.
Lush Mask of Magnaminty
My skin loves lush masks! Mask of magnaminty has been one of my favourites for a while now but recently I've also been using it as a spot treatment. I leave it on for 15 minutes - yes the package says 5-10 minutes - to really draw the impurities from my skin.
Mac Mineralise Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle
I feel like I have mentioned this previously but I've been reaching for it more and more during march. It suits my skin so well and is really easy to build. For a more natural look I'll use a fan brush to apply a small amount or take a tiny amount on a fluffy brush to add a little glow all over. When I really want to go ham on the highlighter I'll use my real techniques brush to pack it on, blend it out and build it up.
Real Techniques Setting Brush
I am a big fan of real technique brushes, and I have two of these brushes in my current rotation. I use one for highlighter and the other for applying a banana powder under my eyes. I find the bristles work really well for applying a dusting of powder while also being dense enough to sort of buff in my highlighter for a more natural look.
Clarins Multi-Active Night Cream
After my facial about a month back I was recommended this night cream and over the past month my skin has really been loving it. Obviously my the moisturiser I was using on my skin at night beforehand wasn't moisturising enough. This cream is nice and thick while still absorbing completely.
Lush Bubble Gum Lip Scrub
As the weather starts to cool down the first thing that feels it are my lips, they start getting drier and begin to chap around the edges. Every morning I use this lip scrub and a soft toothbrush to exfoliate my lips before slathering on my lip balm. This bubble gum lip scrub is super sweet and the best part is you can eat it so you don't have to worry about getting a little (or a lot) in your mouth.
Cadburys Mini Eggs
If you knew how many bags I've been through this past month you'd be shocked. Mini eggs are the perfect snack and they're sweet so they kill two birds with one stone.
What have you been loving this month?
Much Love,
